Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Resource to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should be CFA qualified and possess 7-10 years of experience in budgeting, cash forecasting, financial modelling, and extensive knowledge of Excel. The candidate should have a strong background in working within a large consulting firm and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
– Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
– Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and propose corrective actions where necessary.
– Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including cash flow projections and profitability analysis.
– Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives.
– Support the preparation and presentation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to senior stakeholders.
– Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
– Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide proactive financial insights and recommendations.
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data for various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications And Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is highly preferred.
– Proven experience of 5-8 years in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash forecasting, and financial modelling.
– Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
– Experience working within a large consulting firm is highly desirable.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Quick learner with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
– Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
– Knowledge of relevant financial software and ERP systems is an advantage.
