About the job

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the financial performance of the organization.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze financial metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and make strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions to ensure compliance and efficient financial operations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Manage corporate tax compliance, including preparing and submitting corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficient and effective finance operations.

Candidates having experience in marine industry is a plus

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CA/CPA .
  • Preferably candidates with ACCA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years

Must have skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
