About the job
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including retail, wholesale, indenting, and stitching divisions. The role involves ensuring compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations in the UAE, managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and implementing effective internal controls. The Finance Manager will oversee the end-to-end financial activities and manage a team of two finance professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the retail sector and be proficient in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Navision, SAP, or Oracle.
Salary Range: 12k to 18k (apply only if your salary expectation is in this range)
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations, staying updated on changes in tax laws.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate audit processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- End-to-End Financial Activities: Oversee the complete spectrum of financial activities, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
- Team Management: Manage a team of two finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 -12 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in the retail sector.
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Navision, SAP, or Oracle.
- Tax Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
