Overview

Job Description: What you’ll do:

  • Manage the month end close process for all UK Ennismore entities, including the group holding companies, ensuring timely accurate reporting
  • Provide assurance to support the accuracy and completeness of our results in accordance with global directives (IFRS) and local reporting (FRS 102)
  • Regularly liaise with the Finance teams of Ennismore globally, including the US, France and Asia. Coordinate intercompany reconciliations, recharges and cash pool movements across the group.
  • Manage preparation and review of a robust balance sheet including monthly reconciliations, accurate calculation of accruals and other related activities
  • Perform monthly reviews with budget holders to gain full understanding of performance against budgets
  • Deliver accurate and timely month end reporting (P&L + Balance Sheet) into OneStream, our consolidation tool
  • Provide insightful variance analysis and commentary on month end reporting
  • Management of UK accounts receivables, including review of reconciliations and ensuring timely and accurate issuance of invoices
  • Assist with improving the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting to Accor SA, our French parent company, and within the Ennismore entities
  • Document and deliver improvements on financial controls, processes and procedural policies in collaboration with the operational teams and external parties
  • Assist with finance system implementation projects, including an automated AR matching system
  • Review and submission of the quarterly VAT return
  • Manage financial reporting compliance, including external audit and statutory reporting.

Qualifications: What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience of running the month end close for a medium sized Group
  • Previous responsibility for delivering regular, insightful management reporting for small and medium companies is essential
  • Experience and knowledge of VAT
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent communicator of financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and jump in and help where needed
