Drive and boost Samsung online Tablets & Wearables sales growth through Samsung.com across UAE & GCC. Being part of the D2C Team team puts you in a leading position at the centre of excellence responsible for maximizing customer experience, brand presence and sales growth across Samsung.com. The position requires an experienced eCommerce Sales Manager who is capable of driving direct-to-consumer eCommerce platforms. This individual will be responsible for driving the online sales performance of Samsung Tablets & Wearables products across our D2C digital channels.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Develop strategy for new product launches in collaboration with product, marketing and advertising teams
  • Build sustainable product and pricing strategies to drive full product portfolio across all categories
  • Plan and manage promotional calendar and pricing strategy, to build and execute cross divisional campaigns to maximize sellout
  • Track and manage sell-in, sellout, WOS, OOS, ageing inventory, and provide necessary analysis and derive action plans to achieve targets
  • Plan and implement cross- & upselling strategy in close alignment with key stakeholders across content, marketing, sales, product and D2C teams
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators to identify gaps then set and deliver action plans with markets key stakeholders and follow through with execution recommendations to positively impact sales performance
  • Collaborate closely with content team to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates and ensure brand guidelines and standards are met across the different channels
  • Maintain up-to-date business, operations, and performance dashboards to provide in-depth visibility and understanding of the online channel’s current and future needs and translate them into sales opportunities
  • Working closely with online, marketing and product teams to develop the D2C strategy for improving existing setups and launching new eCommerce programs and sellout functionalities
  • Manage Suwon and MENA Office counterparts and attain and deliver best practices improving local execution and strategy
  • Drive actionable insights (through web analytics and competitive landscape benchmarking) to improve user experience and platform capabilities
  • Manage eCommerce KPIs for traffic, sales, acquisition and customer interaction

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor Degree with 8 years of eCommerce experience /6 years with Master degree
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be system oriented as well as computer literate and advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience within a fast growing eCommerce D2C environment
  • Strong sales acumen and experience managing direct-to-consumer platforms (eStore & Mobile app)
  • Demand planning experience
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and technical skills
  • Conceptual and strategic, and must embrace being an owner; getting involved in the details of the business
  • Proficiency in building clear and concise presentations to be used with C-Level management
  • Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships
  • Comfortable in a collaborative environment; flexible and open to ideas from all areas and levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask efficiently, while being well organized and maintaining high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management to work on tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last-minute requests
  • Ability to operate comfortably and optimally in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of e-commerce trends, competitive landscape and digital customer experience
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to track and generate data based insights on a weekly basis
  • Experience as a category sales manager in the digital space with strong sales acumen
  • Comfortable interpreting sales and web traffic data and deriving actionable insights
  • Strong understanding of data reporting and digital advertising best practices
  • Possess an innovative and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively
