We are a leading packaging and printing manufacturing group in the United Arab Emirates seeking a dynamic Chief Accountant to join our team.

Job Purpose:

Manages the company’s accounting system through the direct supervision and control of generally accepted accounting principles and adherence to local standards and internal control. Review and submission of accurate financial reports and relevant key indicators for management decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cost management and maximize profitability.
  • Having a brief idea of costing & price bidding, especially for the packaging industry.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights into operational performance and identify opportunities.
  • Support management in decision-making through accurate financial analysis and risk assessments.
  • Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external & internal auditors as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective capacity utilization and financial efficiency.

Education / Qualifications:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role and manufacturing industries
  • 5+ years of working experience in the costing field

Other requirements:

  • INFOR (ERP) experience?
  • MS Office
