Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure all financial reports are in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Accounting Management:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions and related records.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Analyze financial trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with other departments to support budgeting processes and ensure alignment with the company’s goals.

Compliance and Internal Controls:
Oversee the company’s tax filings, including VAT, income tax, and other relevant taxes.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
Oversee the management of accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Audit Coordination:
Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure that audits are completed accurately and within deadlines.
Address any audit queries and ensure that the company meets all audit requirements.

Product Costing and Inventory Management:
Oversee the accounting of inventory and costing of goods sold (COGS) for baby products.
Monitor stock levels and reconcile inventory accounts.

Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Provide financial analysis and reports as needed to support management decision-making.
Assist with special projects, financial modeling, or any ad-hoc financial tasks as required by the business.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA ( Inter or Final),CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial accounting role. Experience in the retail, distribution, or FMCG industry is a plus.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of VAT ,CT and local tax regulations.
