About The Job: Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Reservations Department in Dubai, the Assistant Revenue Manager is responsible for successfully supporting Revenue Management efforts for the Hotel, proactive analysis and decision making. The Assistant Revenue Manager is also responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. Assistant Revenue Manager reports to the Director of Revenue Strategy.

As an Assistant Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead daily briefings with the reservations team and duty manager, ensuring smooth operations, prompt query resolution, and consistent communication across departments.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to the reservations and revenue teams, ensuring high standards, up-to-date product knowledge, and continuous team development.
  • Manage hotel inventory proactively to maximize revenue, implement pricing strategies aligned with brand guidelines, and support the Director of Revenue Strategy in revenue planning.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts and reports, including transient and group business trends, market share evaluations, and revenue performance critiques.
  • Analyse booking patterns, pricing sensitivity, and market trends; monitor competitor activity and recommend strategic responses for demand-driving events or citywide occasions.
  • Ensure accuracy across all distribution channels and systems (e.g., GDS, OTA, IDeaS), manage reservation data integrity, and lead the rate loading and maintenance process.

As An Assistant Revenue Manager, We Expect From You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience in hotel re-openings or renovations and familiarity with the Middle East region is considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Revenue Management and prior experience with PMS system.
  • Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service with little input from others.
  • Perform job with attention to details and the ability to organise and handle multiple tasks effectively.
