FACULTY POSITION IN ACCOUNTING: The Department of Accounting at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for a two full-time faculty position in accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s teaching, research activities and service. While we welcome applications from academics with various accounting backgrounds, we are particularly interested in candidates with an interest and/or expertise in taxation and data analytics. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience and tax-free in the UAE. Free housing, paid utilities and other attractive benefits are provided.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All candidates must have a PhD degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university, preferably North American. Assistant professors must have evidence of publications and promising research potential. A successful candidate should be able to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
