Assistant Operations Manager

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our Construction Team in Dubai.

Scope: Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the business unit contracts in coordination with site supervisors, administrative support, Operations Manager and Account Manager. Direct impact on the profitability of assigned contracts based on efficiency of deployments and management of off-hires.

Responsibilities

Financial

• Ensure that employees are mobilized daily for assigned clients.
• Ensure transportation is arranged for all assigned accounts.

Customer

• Management of all assigned Coordinators daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with site managers and timekeepers.
• Employee engagement, providing staff with roster and shift information, responding to and resolving employee queries.

Process

• Assist in the management of daily absenteeism of staff for all assigned accounts.
• Assist the Operations Manager in managing all Client and Employee issues including salary issues, absenteeism, working illegally, strike action.
• Manage employee annual leave with both employees and clients to ensure the client requirements are met along with employee entitlements.

Innovation

• Carry out and manage any additional responsibilities as assigned by Operations Manager including but not limited to being on call, CSR activities etc.
• Continuously explore opportunities to drive and enhance client experience.

Selection Criteria

• 2-3 years industry experience with management of high volume of manpower
• UAE Driving License
• Ability to handle pressure under scrutiny from diverse range of clients
• Excellent written English and communication skills
