About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting to join Dubai Holding Group Services. Responsibilities of this role:
Job Purpose: The Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting is responsible for supporting the financial reporting functions within Dubai Holding. This includes preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role will contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, as well as assist with various financial analyses to support decision-making and enhance business performance.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Prepare financial reports for management, including detailed analysis and commentary on variances.
- Ensure that financial statements are accurate, timely, and comply with all regulatory and accounting requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financials.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all financial data is captured and reconciled.
- Assist in preparing financial performance reports and variance analysis.
- Provide insights into financial trends and highlight areas of concern to management.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures related to financial reporting.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data and insights.
- Liaise with department heads to gather necessary data for financial reports and analyses.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in a large organization or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
- Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels.
