Overview

Position –Assistant Manager- Payables
Location – Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Qualification– Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree with professional qualification is desired.
Experience – 5+years of related work experience preferably in a retail supermarket environment.
Other pre-requisites Experienced in managing invoice processing, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring timely payments, with proficiency in SAP HANA 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local financial regulations.

Role –
–       Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
–       Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
–       Prepare and process payments, including cheques, bank transfers, and other payment methods.
–       Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
–       Obtain periodic balance confirmation and support annual financial audit
–       Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions.
–       Assist in month-end closing by preparing accounts payable reports and providing necessary data.
–       Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations, including VAT requirements.
–       Prepare Payables Cash Flow and manage cash flow efficiently in a cost-effective manner.
–       Transform the payable function, move towards system and process, implement host to host payment process,
–       Manage BDA and other incomes performance, and account periodic accrual and follow up on the BDA revenues
–       Participate in the payment term negotiation and ensure better payment terms for the Organization
–       Review all capex and purchase order requests.
–       Coordinate with IT and improve performance using IT applications
–       Assist with supplier communication regarding payment status and respond to inquiries.
–       Maintain a filing system for financial documents and invoices.
–       Support the finance team in audits by providing necessary documentation.
