Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant at Eraad Real Estate in Sharjah. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with financial reports, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain and update accounting documents and records.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including data entry.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Experience in bookkeeping and payroll management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
