Overview

Summary:

The Account Assistant will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to credit control, petty cash management, finance operations, communication, and accounting. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of UAE experience working in an audit firm is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACCA, CA, and CMA qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in credit control, petty cash management, and finance operations.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the logistics/shipping industry is a plus.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must have experience with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks).
