Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and assertive Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our finance team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts receivable functions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preference will be given to candidates who are non-Indian, Chartered Accountants (CA), and those with experience in the trading industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Monitor and maintain the aging report, following up on overdue accounts to minimize outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address and resolve any billing or payment issues.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the receivables process.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is preferred.
• Experience in the trading industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assertively manage collections and negotiate payment terms.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
