Job Opportunity: Accounts & Purchase Assistant

As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Accounts & Purchase Assistant to strengthen our finance and procurement team.

Role Overview:

We seek an Accounts Assistant with purchasing experience to support both finance and procurement operations. In this role, you’ll be essential to maintaining seamless financial and operational processes, focusing on accounts management and procurement coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Assistant Duties:

  • Manage daily accounting tasks like data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Process and track invoices accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable for accurate records.
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) and assist in audits.
  • Handle petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support bank reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the senior accountant to ensure compliance with financial policies.

Purchasing Duties:

  • Assist in procurement, issuing purchase orders and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
  • Keep accurate purchase records, including contracts, prices, and quantities.
  • Verify goods received against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Liaise with departments to meet purchasing needs efficiently.
  • Generate reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and inventory.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 02+ years in accounts or purchasing, ideally in printing or packaging.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procurement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • English fluency (Arabic is a plus).

Additional Requirements:

  • UAE residency or valid work permit.
  • CRM, SAP, or ERP experience is a plus.
