Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns, and liaising with tax authorities as needed.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
  • Chinese Market Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking clients and partners, facilitating communication and ensuring smooth financial operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • ERP System Management: Utilize and manage accounting software and ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company or a firm with international clients.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
