About the job

Job PurposeFollow up of payments from customers, Bank transfer posting, CDC / PDC posting, filling of documents, Customers reconciliations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bank deposit entries daily morning (CDC/PDC), Bank Transfer Entries
  • Post new PDCs received on daily basis from Dubai and other branches.
  • Maintain customer history excel files and update monthly (Sales, O/S, RTN chq, chq hold, credit limits, and payment terms).
  • Evaluate the credit worthiness of new clients & credit enhancement by using company’s credit policy (scoring) and process credit applications.
  • Check Trade references
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied to the correct customers’ accounts
  • Address and follow up on deviations from payments terms
  • Follow up of payments with customers
  • Prepare manual receipts for cheques collected by sales teams
  • Update new PDCs in customer ledger Dubai & Branches.
  • Releasing SRVs
  • Cash discount credit notes ( 2 % )

Job RequirementsQualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Higher degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

  • Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in receivables management; and general accounting

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of accounting principles, credit and collection best practices
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office / SAP Experience on Vendor Payment
  • Numeracy, analytical, co-ordination and problem solving skills;
  • Pleasant, positive attitude and able to handle work pressure.
