Accountant

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data. Preparing bills receivable, invoices and bank deposits.

Responsibilities

Invoice Management:

• Generate and issue invoices to customers.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and sent in a timely manner.

Payment Processing:

• Record and apply payments to customer accounts.

• Reconcile payments received with the company’s records.

Customer Account Management:

• Maintain and update customer account information.

• Address customer queries and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.

Collections:

• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.

• Implement collection procedures, including sending reminders and making collection calls.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions with customers.

• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging.

Reporting:

• Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, including aging reports and cash flow projections.

• Provide insights on the status of receivables and potential risks.

Reconciliation:

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable records.

Collaboration:

• Work with other departments, such as front office to ensure smooth invoicing and collection processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• knowledge in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and ERP software’s.
