Overview

Phoenician Technical Services LLC, a leading Landscape Company, is looking for a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to join its dynamic team.
This role reports directly to the Finance Manager. Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:
– Solid background in accounting, with strong analytical skills and the ability to provide detailed business reports.
– Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
– Handle all accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
– Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
– Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
– Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting.
– Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
– Prepare budgeting and forecasting reports.
– Support month-end and year-end close processes.
– Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
– Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
– Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
– Additional duties as assigned by the Accounts & Finance Manager.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– CPA /ACCA certification is a plus.
– Proven working experience as an Accountant.
– Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
– Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
– Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to handle accounts payable and dealing with suppliers efficiently.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.”
