About an Accountant Job in Kerakoll Group Dubai

Key Responsibilities: Job Description:

  • Credit Control and Collections
  • Manage credit control processes to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
  • Monitor and follow up on collections, preparing regular reports on aging and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with Sales Department regarding outstanding invoices and payment terms
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable Management
  • Post receivables and payables transactions accurately and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers and track payments received.
  • Financial Reporting and P&L Support
  • Maintain and update accounting records and general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurate and complete.
  • Assist the Regional Director in preparing monthly P&L statements and other financial reports.
  • Assist and support the external consultants in preparing official financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure they are recorded in compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations, to ensure data consistency
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent financial practices across the organization.
  • Support external consultants by providing accurate financial data and documentation, in order to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax requirements and regulations.
  • Payroll Processing
  • Prepare and post salary slips, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in payroll management.
  • Handle any payroll-related inquiries and maintain compliance with salary processing requirements.
  • Coordination with Corporate Departments
  • Maintain regular communication with the corporate administration and finance, planning and controlling departments to ensure alignment with group policies and reporting requirements.
  • Provide requested data and reports to support corporate-level financial planning and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency

Educational Background: Qualifications and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the building materials or manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for financial reporting and analysis.

Credit Management: Demonstrated experience in credit control, receivables management, and reporting on DSO and aging.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management and general accounting principles.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial data, transactions, and reporting.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including the corporate finance team and customers.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity
  • Knowledge of local regulations related to accounting and payroll processing in the UAE is an advantage.
