Accountant – Accounting and Finance – Freight forwarding
ZSS is looking for a candidate for the role of Accountant in freight forwarding to be based in Sajaa office. Could it be you?

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities.
• Own cross-functional commercial processes and financial results.
• Prepare and analyze monthly finance reports.
• Manage initiatives across all lines of spends and build trackers and tools to monitor and control actual, accruals and ensure completeness and accuracy of the recorded transactions.
• Oversee all types of reconciliation to align supplier liabilities, rebates, customers receivable, retailers liabilities and their related collections.
• Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in account reconciliation, ensuring account balances are accurate and up-to-date. Support tax and auditing activities.
• Prepare the monthly financial and management report.
• A thorough understanding of the VAT regulation and keeping abreast of the constant evolving legislative changes in the UAE.
• Oversee the VAT compliance and ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting and payment.

Job Requirements:

Graduate/ PG, University degree
Experience in a similar industry, ideally within the UAE.
Thorough knowledge in local customs/port clearance rules and regulations
Valid UAE driving license
