Accountant

This role is requiring UAE and TAX experience

Job description:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Complete analysis of the employee expenditures
• Initiate and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Assist with VAT audits quarterly and corporate tax audit yearly
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

· Any additional professional certification is a Plus

· Min 5 years of Accounting experience

· Min 3 years of Accounting experience in the UAE

· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Competency with at least one financial planning software package Xero, Zoho etc.

· Knowledge and experience in UAE VAT TAX and Corporate TAX

· Effective time management skills and attention to detail

· Fluent English (written and verbal skills)
