Overview: We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring of lease receipts, managing billing operations, and providing financial support across various functions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with agents and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease Receipts Management:

Daily monitoring of lease receipts to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Resolve discrepancies and liaise with relevant parties as needed.

  • Billing Operations:

Responsible for daily billing of lease deals, ensuring compliance with agreements and accurate invoicing.

  • Agent Support:

Address all agent inquiries related to branch operations, providing prompt solutions.

  • Financial Management:

Manage payables and ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.

Oversee day-to-day payments and entries of all bank and cash transactions.

  • Cash and Bank Monitoring:

Regularly check cash dealings in branches and monitor bank balances.

perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.

  • Intercompany Transactions:

Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure proper accounting treatment.

  • Payment Scheduling:

Develop and maintain a schedule for monthly payments including utilities, PDCs ,commissions

  • Vendor Reconciliations:

Prepare and review vendor reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurately settled.

  • Weekly and Monthly Reporting:

Prepare a weekly payable list for management review.

Liaise with the collections department to ensure effective cash flow management.

  • Commission Management:

Calculate and prepare monthly provisions for agent commissions based on commission sheets.

  • General Ledger (GL) Oversight:

Monitor GL items, ensuring accurate coding and proper allocation.

Conduct detailed analyses of GL items, expenses, and balance sheet items.

  • Monthly Close Process:

Manage the monthly closing of books, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare monthly WPS and VAT filings in compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Financial Analysis:

Prepare monthly Profit and Loss (PnL) statements and accounts schedules.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of expenses and balance sheet items for management insights.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA designation is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, financial operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
