Position Summary

As the Accountant for Nespresso, you will play an important part role ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting of Nespresso UAE Subsidiary – covering activities under Period end Close for Group reporting and internal management reporting, in accordance with Nestlé Accounting Standards.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Provide full transparency on main business KPI’s across the entire Nespresso UAE organization via the establishment of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly financial and non financial reports to both local management (i.e. Variance and Gap Analysis, ManCom Dashboards) and to the Group.
- Coordinate all Decision Support related activities (Period-end Closing & Reporting, Business Planning) across Nespresso UAE business and ensure alignment of all other controlling teams on management accounting procedures and timelines.
- Support for compliance of management reporting in line with NAS & Costing Standards. Ensure Period End Close deliverables (e.g. MC settlement, Channel Based P&L, Invested capital, etc..) and COGS monthly calculations.
- Ensure efficiency and quality of Management Accounting processes with regard to speed, resources used and quality of the output.
- Ensure high quality PEC output (i.e. GLOBE-Magnitude reconciliation, FI-CO reconciliation etc.) via correct controlling systems setup (master data, allocation rules, CO-PA derivation rules, BW), regular data checks, and allocation/ distribution activities for P&L. Integration with other functional applications (i.e. CRM, SD) and drive resolution of issues at source.
- Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans for e-Com business.
- Support / Actively participate in the Monthly Business Planning Process. Accurate and timely financials reporting. Support decision making by financial evaluation of various scenarios in e-Com business.
- Responsible for all Accounting & Reporting activities within Nespresso Market in the UAE including production and distribution of timely, accurate and relevant management reporting and analysis supporting entire Nespresso UAE business needs, ensuring functional leadership on coordination with business and co-pilots.
- As No NESSOFT Market, all tasks for month closing to be performed on SAP and Microsoft Dynamics ERPs and Systems in full adherence with Nestle Accounting Standards and local tax and regulations in the UAE.
What Will Make You Successful
- Masters in Accounting
- Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function (e.g. Sales, Factory or Supply Chain Controller)
- Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience
- Accounts Receivable background/experience
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience an advantage
- Participation in Efficiency and Best Practice Projects
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum 3 years of experience
