Job Description/Role

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, implement and continually develop the resource utilization, planning and optimization to improve profitability.
  • Authorize all hazardous cargos operations to ensure same are completed in accordance with applicable rules and regulation ensuring complete Divisional awareness of procedures in case of emergency.
  • Identify, organize, deliver and continually improve all preventative maintenance programs for all Divisional Assets.
  • Measure and reduce downtimes, breakdowns, technical condition and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Administer, monitor and achieve cost base improvements for the Division.
  • Ensure safe operation and compliance of the Division’s staff, resource and assets to all Government and Ministry statutory laws, initiatives and policies.
  • Administer, monitor and achieve cost base improvements for the Division.
  • Control and manage the administration related requirements of the Division.
  • Determine, coordinate and control the staffing requirements of the Division and ensure individuals are developed in line with Group HR principles and policies.
  • Share recommendations to hiring and promotion of subordinates.
  • Lead the Division in preparation and processing of all internal or external audits.
  • Ensures that all health and safety protocols are enforced and observed in all Company’s activities in order to protect the employees and the public.
  • Complies with all applicable laws and relevant industry standards of practice and commits to the continuous improvement of HSE management practices.
  • Provides strong visible commitment, leadership and personal involvement in health, safety and the environment and makes available the resources necessary to achieve our HSE objectives.

Educational Background

B.Sc./B. A Degree or equivalent

Technical Qualification / Certification

Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) or Equivalent

Related Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years in Road Transport Management
  • Must have U.A.E driving license
