Job Description/Role

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple project costs including budget, forecasting and cost control to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards, focusing on cash flow and revenue recognition.
  • Review and validate ETC (Estimate to Complete), EAC (Estimate at Completion) and EAC margins.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to track project progress, identify risk or variance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on project risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Utilize ERP systems, preferably SAP, for creating projects, cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare and update project dashboards for real-time monitoring of project financial performance.
  • Work closely with finance and project management teams to ensure accuracy in financial aspects reporting of the project.
  • Regularly update project plans and budgets as required through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly project reports for senior management and stakeholders meeting.
  • Ensure that all documents are current, accurately categorized, and easily accessible.
  • Support the PMO in establishing best practices, tools, templates and methodologies for project planning, execution, and control to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Train and support project teams in project control best practices to ensure adherence of project standards and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in project Cost control or project management within the EPCM industry.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a PMO environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost control, budget management, and project scheduling.
  • Proficient in SAP or related ERP systems and familiar with other project management software.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with timesheet administration and resource management practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a global, multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are a plus.
