Asset Management Investment Analyst – Abu Dhabi, Al Reem Island
Job Summary:
Al Ramz Corporation P.J.S.C. is seeking an Investment Analyst to join our growing team. The incumbent will be responsible to assist the Head of Buy-Side Research in collecting information, perform research modeling and analyze assets, such as stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities on listed and potential Companies within a specific industry in order to make recommendations regarding an investment strategy.
Collect and interpret data, such as company financial statements, price developments, currency adjustments and yield fluctuations. Stays abreast of trends and news within an industry, such as corporate information/ disclosures, mergers and acquisitions, competitive position, and financial stability of organizations and make objective assessment of their impact to the potential of a particular Company and Market in a macro perspective.
Support the Fund manager of the money market fund in getting rates from banks for deposits and secure the operational cycles of confirmations, bookings and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and administrative support in development and utilization of quantitative tools to produce timely and relative valuation reports for use of various end-users such as factor models and optimization software as well as development of quantitative and fundamental investment management processes. Determine relevant benchmarks and develop custom benchmarks, if necessary.
- Provide the investment team with informational or statistical responses through data gathering organizes and analyzes relevant data, tables, graphs, and charts. Reviews reports, papers, memos and articles to ensure proper use of data and offer statistical consultation. Analyze and interpret company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information and write financial research summaries
- Prepare reports related to risk assessment, variances and recommend alternatives as needed. Review narrative and statistical information received from internal and external sources; confer with agencies and others to interpret research information received; write reports such as statistical studies, narrative reports, and articles for publication, including summary tables, graphs, and charts; summarizes data into various formats and writes short reports, simple research monographs and/or sections of major reports.
- Assists the Fund Managers in monitoring all investments and drawing conclusions of former investments to derive information for future investment plans.
- In coordination with the Head of Buy-Side Research, assist in developing research product tailored for all investors/clients of Al Ramz Asset Management. Provide input into product development within the investment management product range and support the launch process.
Qualifications:
Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics, should be a candidate or CFA charter holder.
Minimum three (3) years of experience market research and security analysis.
Competencies or Skills:
- Strong financial and stock market trading business technical knowledge.
- In-depth proficiency in research related works.
- Analytical and quantitative skills.
- Good communication skills both oral and written .
- High level understanding of various technical and fundamental research techniques.
