Job Description/Role

Role summary:

The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Director of Delivery and the wider Operations Department with data analysis, interpretation and reporting. The Operations Analyst primary role is interfacing with the Operations Teams, Project Coordinators, Operations Support Centre and linking to other departments to gather information and activity and report into the Director of Delivery and onwards to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the activities of the Director of Delivery to ensure information is collated, reported and analyzed.
  • Gather operational activity reports from the regions and teams to analyze and review and provide collated regional and Ops wide reports.
  • Support the regional management teams complete the various weekly registers and active files across the business including the CLINOPS register, OSC tracker, Weekly Field Site Operational Reports, Mob/Demob tracker, Risk Register’s, TCIR reporting, Monthly Ops reporting forms, Board Report Statistics reviews, Operations Data Dashboard, BCP planning maintenance, BME SmartCare Visual Planner and BSU interface and other Ops SharePoint interfaces.
  • Interface with the OSC on support to projects and field managers.
  • Review operational activities with advice on streamlining data collection and analysis across the various regions.
  • SME on software interface with IT Team.
  • Setup of a management of Operations Dashboard across regions.
  • Operational support tasks as provided by the Director of Delivery.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and online interfaces.
  • Experience within the remote working environment desirable.

Additional Information

  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and interfaces
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to operate MS Office with Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint, Other Office 365 products etc.
  • Advanced Excel Skills in data management, interfaces and inter-dependencies. This includes Excel formatting, formula derivation, as well as tabulating information and Pivot table reporting.
  • Microsoft Power Bi experience and interface with business processes.
  • Database management setup and configuring including such as SQL or similar.
  • Good Knowledge of operational processes.
  • Demonstrable understanding of data analysis and interpretation such as dashboards and deliverables.
