Job Description/Role

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Dubai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the development, performance, and maintenance of the financial activities of the organization. Prepare and analyze management accounting information/reports highlighting key area where higher management attention is required. Provides support service to Line manager. Support the management with relevant Management reports on monthly/need basis

Responsibility

  • Co-ordinate with the team and close the books of accounts of entities on monthly basis.
  • Preparation of financial reports and forecasts, income statements, balance sheets, and financial management reports.
  • Ensure maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the management of all accounting procedures and systems are followed as per Company Policy
  • Assist in the review of reports, analyze projections of sales and income against budget/forecast.
  • Liaising with other department and business unit heads in the company to obtain financial data so that records can be updated for accurate management reporting.
  • Supervise the payments/collections.
  • Supervise and review the P&L and Balance Sheet schedules on periodical basis.
  • Liaise with external/internal auditors to provide the required information time to time.
  • Coordinates with ERP department to make changes / improvements in the system including automation of reporting, preparation of dashboards etc.
  • Performs other duties as required by the Line Manager

Qualifications

  • CA Intermediate/ACCA/Post-Graduation or Equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with audit processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Experience:

Minimum 4 years in the same capacity | Minimum 2 years UAE Experience
