Job Description/Role
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, tax preparation, and budgeting. You will play a key role in ensuring our financial integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
· Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
· Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
· Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
· Ensure compliance with IFRS principles and relevant regulatory requirements.
· Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
· Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and initiatives.
· Tax preparations, registration and all legal compliances.
· Very well versed of UAE & International banking and its procedures.
Requirements:
· Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
· Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
· In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in accounting soft wares and MS Excel.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· UAE experience is must
