Job Description/Role

Overview:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Fin street Holding Company, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our diverse subsidiaries, which include an exchange, custody services, and investment banking functions. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, managing financial risks, and providing strategic guidance to support the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives, including capital allocation, investment decisions, and financial planning and analysis.
  • Financial Reporting to Internal Stakeholder in accordance with Hold Co Requirements: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the holding company and its subsidiaries, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as ad hoc reporting for senior management and the board of directors.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, working closely with department heads and business unit leaders to develop financial plans that support operational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks facing the organization, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies to safeguard assets and optimize risk-adjusted returns.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and capital structure optimization, ensuring adequate funding for ongoing operations and strategic investments.
  • Financial Compliance with FSRA: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies, working closely with legal and compliance teams to address any areas of concern and maintain a robust control environment.
  • Investor Relations: Serve as the primary liaison for investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders, providing transparent and accurate information about the company’s financial performance and strategic direction.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in a senior finance role, with significant exposure to financial management in the financial services industry, preferably within exchanges, custody services, or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications preferred.
