Job Description/Role
Please note this is a 6 days working role .
Responsibilities
• Closely work with Manager – Finance and the Sales Manager to facilitate the payment process and prepare ad hoc reports to support the strategic analysis for timely decision making
• Closely work with the sales team to ensure sales and purchase process will follow the SOP and maintain accurate record of AP, AR and inventory records, on a monthly basis
• Assist Manager – Finance in the preparation of the financial reporting and the preparation of budget and forecast activity for Dealership.
• Review of vehicle finance/insurance documents before releasing VCC for vehicle transfer to customers.
• Maintaining full track of receivables from bank and insurance company. Ensuring account are reconciled monthly before monthly closing.
• Taking additional responsibility of Cashier during absence.
• Well versed in RTA and other legal clearance process relating to sale and purchase of New and Used vehicles
• Ensure that transactions are recorded using Dynamics 365 and EXCEL
• Generate system reports and calculations for functional areas of billing, processing and account payable to ensure internal and external audit requirements are met
• Prepare funding requirements from finance through analyzing of trade payable to ensure efficient timelines in debtor management
• Assist in preparation and compilation of forecasting vs budget performance on weekly and monthly basis
• Ensure collection and deposit of sales receipt on timely basis, as soon as received.
• Prepare monthly stock report and facilitate stock count of Vehicles and Parts. Liaise with internal and external audit for year end count
• Critical document control, such as vehicle Hayaza, VCC & transfer certificates, Bank LPO, etc
• Coordination with Insurance and Bank for customer finance.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Part Qualified or M.Com from a reputed university.
- 5 year experience in Automotive business dealing with Banks and Insurance company
- Experience working on D365, Advance user of MS Office
- Monthly closing and accurate financial reporting within deadlines (provision / write-down working, WIP working, etc)
- Manage in-house cash flows
- Maintain clean and accurate books of accounts
