Job Description/Role
Senior Group Finance Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Group Finance with a proven track record in the UAE to join our Group of Companies in Abu Dhabi immediately. Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a Big 4 Auditing firm in the UAE, with significant exposure to tax, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Role Description
- Participate in financial planning and analysis to support business growth.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, manage financial reporting, and effectively communicate with senior management.
- Handle all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring adherence to UAE tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies for the organization.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing comprehensive documentation, detailed explanations, and facilitating the resolution of any audit findings.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic financial decision-making, reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Handle a large volume of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Candidates should be having a proven banking experience, particularly in managing loan facilities and guarantees.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Immediate availability to join the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting.
- Candidates with experience in delivery companies or working with a group of companies are highly preferred.
