We are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager Finance who will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in all facets of company finance, including budgeting, allocation, and planning. He or she will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager to oversee the finance function and bridge the gap between corporate finance and structured finance departments.
Position: Assistant Manager Finance
Job Description:
- Supporting the Finance Manager to maintain the financial health of the group.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in performing a variety of advanced financial analyses and reports to determine present and forecasted financial health of the group to the Senior Management.
- Strategic planning by producing reports and research on the company’s financial situation, as well as setting short- and long-term financial goals.
- Assist in examining the financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
- Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues
- Look for cost-reduction opportunities
- Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors, etc.
- Responsible for supporting group-wide Tax management, VAT, and Corporate Tax in compliance with FTA laws
- Assist and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, consolidation, and reforecast processes.
- Support Project Budgeting: manage and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
- Establish risk assessments and evaluation policies and processes.
- May be required to visit the business partners or other third parties wherever necessary.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- CA qualified
- 6-8 years with a minimum of 2-3 years of UAE experience is preferred in a Senior Finance role within a diverse group-holding organization
- Experience in multiple industries covering B2B/B2C segments, IT/Technology trading, distribution, and service delivery will be preferred
- Proven experience with Tax and VAT
- Must be well-versed with hands-on experience in Oracle, Microsoft, or other leading ERP’s
- Hands-on experience in data analytics, financial reporting & analysis
- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to perform complex financial analyses and modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of IFRS
