Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant at Aysha Nassar Interiors, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company. Your day-to-day tasks will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, preparing financial statements, conducting financial audits, and overseeing the general accounting functions. You will collaborate with our team to ensure financial stability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting operations:
- Perform daily accounting activities including, journal entries and book maintenance, AP, AR, GL, Payroll and Reconciliations.
- Perform month end closing activities and produce monthly BS and P&L.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance local tax regulation and filing within UAE.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and cost budgets with senior management.
- Analyze performance against budget and act as advisor to management
Audit and Risk Management
- Review procurement orders to ensure risks and errors are mitigated
- Review pricing to ensure risks and errors are mitigated
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Strong knowledge in IFRS
- Experience using accounting software and MS Excel
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification (e.g. ACCA) is a plus
- Experience in the interior design industry is a plus
