Senior HSE Engineer Required in Spark Middle East
Job Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
– Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
– Provide guidance and support to project teams on HSE matters to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
– Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
– Coordinate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
– Prepare and deliver HSE training programs and workshops to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
– Monitor and report on HSE performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, to senior management.
– Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for various emergency scenarios.
– Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all HSE activities, including audits, inspections, and incident reports.
– Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and standards.
– Manage and supervise HSE team members, providing mentorship and support to enhance their professional development.
– Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and changes in HSE regulations to ensure continuous improvement.
– Participate in project planning and design phases to incorporate HSE considerations from the outset.
– Foster collaboration and communication between departments to effectively implement HSE initiatives and resolve issues.
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote HSE best practices and compliance.
