We are looking for a dynamic and a highly motivated personality holding the position of a Sales/Business Development Manager who will be responsible in escalating the business by reaching out to bring in Medium – Large size corporate clients.

We are looking for talent that is social and confident with a customer focused service attitude.

Major Objectives of the Job:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for accelerated growth in marine and offshore travel markets across the GCC region
  • Conduct marine and offshore travel sales forecasting and achieve revenue targets, contributing to the growth of regional business.
  • Win and manage new customers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct thorough market research to create tailored sales and business development plans for the unique needs of the marine and offshore sector, while monitoring and reporting on commercial performance with key metrics for senior management.
  • Leverage an existing network in the marine and offshore industry to introduce specialized travel solutions to new clients.
  • Identify business opportunities, network, and build relationships with prospects and key stakeholders in the marine and offshore sector across the GCC.
  • Stay informed about changes and trends in the marine and offshore travel industry to assess viable marketplace opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries RFI’s, RFP’s, follow up on leads and tenders specific to marine and offshore travel, preparing detailed and winning proposals.
  • Prepare and analyze reports related to client projects and delivery within the marine and offshore sector.
  • Extend and manage existing client relationships within the marine and offshore sector through effective account management.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience and track record in sales and/or managing relationships with key clients in marine, offshore energy for a minimum of 5 years.
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
  • In-depth understanding of prospecting and client funnel work.
  • Solid knowledge of Marine, Offshore and Energy industry in the region and beyond.
  • Clear understanding of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mind-set.
  • Excellent organizational and experienced in remote project management.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
