Hytorc Middle East FZE is currently searching for a UAE experienced and talented Finance Manager operate as the Finance lead for our Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia offices to work independently to ensure the financial success of the business.

Key Duties

Reporting to Hytorc’s International Controller in the UK, the suitable candiate will work in the Dubai office and be responsible for the following:

· To be the Financial lead for all accounting related areas for the MENA region for Hytorc, advising Sales and Operations on best practice for all relevant processes

· Managing and leading the MENA region on price checking , forex calculations, debtors, discounts & sales deals, profit margins, plus P & L account analysis

· Calculation of commission where necessary for sales reps and distributors

· Managing accounts payable invoices for payment and creating payment runs

· Enter template payments on the bank platform and complete wire processing

· Prepare monthly accounting financial template for the USA office – YTD and current month financial results, including actuals versus budget – then present results to local team

· Ensure inventory is properly valued and maintained – includes working with warehouse staff

· Prepare letters of credit, work closely with customer service and the bank to manage these

· Prepare rental credit reports for sales management – quarterly for agents

· Run credit checks on customers and help to define credit terms and limits

· Post journal entries at month-end, including accruals, prepaids, depreciation and deferred revenue

· Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

· Prepare account analysis, identify errors, reclass as necessary, ensure fluctuations are properly identified on management account templates

· Prepare month-end aging reports of AR collection activities for every region

· Generate sales reports, by customer by product to agree to the GL, including gross profit

  • Propose system and process improvements for better efficiency, including improvement of collections
  • Point of contact for annual audit, ensure audits are delivered by end of February timeline
  • Special projects as assigned

Education/Experience Required:

· 10+ years experience in an accounting function within the UAE.

· Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local laws and reporting standards

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

· Accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA

· Experience working with all levels of staff and in multi location environments

· A process and control mindset to manage risk, as well as to make improvements

· Proficient in ERP Software, particularly accounting software packages such as Opera and SAP

· Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

· Able to complete occasional travel to Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia

· Can easily work swiftly between USD/AED/SAR/EUR currencies

· It is highly essential that the successful individual is able to work within a team as well as independently

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Office Environment situated in Jebel Ali Freezone North. Driving license and vehicle is preferred due to the office being located within the Freezone.
