An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Manager with a background in civil engineering to join a highly regarded consultancy on one of their flagship projects, a complex civils infrastructure project in Central Dubai.
The Senior Planning Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of this high-profile infrastructure project. Working closely with the Project Director and the senior management team they will be responsible overseeing the planning function and ensuring the construction programmed is communicated to the site team.
The Senior Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 software. They will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the planning and execution of a significant civils infrastructure project in Dubai.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities, resolve challenges, and ensure project success.
- Utilize your expertise in planning to optimize project efficiency and resource utilization.
- Provide strategic guidance on project planning, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Engage with stakeholders and clients to communicate project milestones and address concerns effectively.
Candidate
- Proven experience of leading the planning function on major civils infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of project planning tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Dubai’s regulatory environment and local authorities is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative consultancy environment.
On offer is a competitive salary of circa 50,000 AED per month plus an attractive benefits package.
