Job Title: Controller – Accounting

Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting
o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
o Present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas of concern.
- Compliance and Governance:
o Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
o Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Cash Management and Treasure:
o Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
o Optimize banking relationships and investment strategies to maximize returns.
- Audit Coordination:
o Coordinate annual external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
o Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership:
o Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
o Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance with a CA/ CPA designation.
- 7-10 years proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting role.
- Thorough understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent in accounting software and ERP systems
