We are looking for an experienced Certinia (Finance) Systems Accountant to join our growing team.

The Certinia (Finance) Systems Accountant will support the Global Financial Force Lead with further internal country implementations, solution enhancements/development and BAU support – engaging in a range of related activities, from requirements gathering/ business analysis to declarative development, deployment, training, documentation, and support activities, and on related initiatives in relation to reporting and BI (analytics). Developing their knowledge of the FF and Salesforce platforms, they will support the internal adoption of new features and system upgrades.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTABILITY ACTIVITIES
Implementation & Support
- Create testing plans, and e.g., test scripts as appropriate, and support testing
- Manage the UAT process to ensure it is completed accurately and inline with deadlines
- Support-on migration and cutover plans
- Provide post-live hyper care to the user community
- Manage caseload of internal FinancialForce requests in relation to both defects and BAU enhancements
- Priorities cases appropriately
- Engage internal and external stakeholders as required to drive case resolution
Requirement Gathering / Solutioning
- Elicit and document stakeholder requirements, alongside CXC Business Analysts, as needed – maintaining a global perspective
FF Development
- Work with the Global FinancialForce Lead to translate a solutioned FinancialForce requirement into a workable solution, using the appropriate resources and tools, which will include:
- Financial report building – both using FF-native tooling (including Excel plugins) and standard Salesforce features (reporting and Tableau Analytics)
- configuration, build and unit testing of standard FF application features
- hands-on build, as required, of custom solutions using declarative Salesforce tooling (e.g., new fields, flows) – and liaison with other internal team members who can support this activity
- management of other specialist development resource (in-house developers or external FF partners) to deliver complex solutions
Training
- Develop and implement FF training for users
- Keep materials up to date
- Communicate future FF releases and enhancements
Communication
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Evolve Salesforce Platform
- Support master data initiatives as required
- Support deployments, upgrade and sandbox refresh activities as required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Highly Desirable: FinancialForce/Certinia or Salesforce experience and any relevant certifications
- Essential: At least 1 years’ experience working in a role involving the implementation or support of ERP / Financial Management Systems (FMS) – preferably at an enterprise scale (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SF/FF, Dynamics, SunSytems etc.)
- Essential: MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
- Desirable: Accounting experience
- Desirable: Reporting and analytics experience (e.g., Cognos, TM1, Power BI, Qlik etc.)
