Financial Controller – 100% Remote
Hostaway is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance department. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information
- Oversight of external accountants to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Conducting analytics such as comparing actual performance to budget and previous year
- Managing cash flow and banking activities
- Implementing and improving financial processes
- Handling order to cash processes, including billings and collections
- Managing purchase to pay processes, including purchase orders
- Maintaining the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records
- Ensuring proper governance and control over financial operations
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Coordinating audit processes and liaising with auditors
- Managing corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Handling VAT and sales tax requirements
- Working with financial systems, specifically NetSuite
- Collaborating with the Payroll/HR team to ensure accurate financial data
