Job Description – Procurement Manager

• Strategic planning for sourcing activities –
• aligning the procurement activities as per organization objectives, identifying potential suppliers, and assessing risks and opportunities.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to optimize procurement costs without compromising quality
• Implementing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and minimize the impact of unforeseen events
• Purchase requests
• Drafting RFPs
• Selection of suppliers
• Issuance of orders
• Create an approval matrix for sourcing activities
• Management of procurement functions as per policies and procedures
• Master vendor data management
• Tracking supplier performance and conducting regular performance reviews
• Contract Negotiation – Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers, including pricing, terms and conditions, delivery schedules, and service level agreements. Ensuring that contracts are favorable and in compliance with legal requirements.
• Able to develop procurement strategies
• Developing and implementing efficient procedures and workflows to streamline the procurement process and minimize costs
• Draft purchase contract terms and conditions, liaise with legal to finalize sourcing general terms and conditions
• Liaise with suppliers and project managers
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Guide and assist in the creation of :
• Developing procurement budgets and monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices in procurement

Requirements

• Experience in procurement functions, preferably in MNCs
• Arabic language proficiency
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of extensive experience in procurement functions
• Able to draft procurement policies and procedures
• Strong project management skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work well in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines
• Certifications in any of the qualifications (CPSM, CPSD, CPIM, CSCP or similar) along with bachelor or post-graduation
• Experience with various ERP systems
