As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the financial records of the organization. Your primary tasks include financial reporting, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
· Oversee and manage the financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
· Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
· Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to track the financial performance.
· Establish and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
· Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to maintain accurate financial records.
· Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Stay up to date with relevant accounting standards and regulations and ensure that the financial practices are in compliance.
· Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the quality of financial information.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with prior experience in the hospitality industry being advantageous.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and leadership abilities.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
