Job Description:
- Participate in documentation (all types + covenants + terms & conditions) negotiation with lawyers, banks/investors, preparation, and approval of the same under SUKUK, Notes, loans and other types of financing.
- Support the Finance function in the development of debt and liquidity management strategy and policies, conduct research, and analyze market/industry trends and ways to utilize them for the achievement of DAMAC’s financial goals.
- Identify opportunities for process automation within the Corporate Finance & Treasury department, present automation projects proposals to SVP for further development within the Finance function.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Corporate Finance & Treasury department policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of the department activity
- Review the reports and dashboard created by the team to monitor revenue, cost, capital, and cash balances of DAMAC’s businesses and support the senior management in making key business decisions, including through benchmarking with industry peers
- Support the integration of the DAMAC financial model with the Management Information System (MIS).
- Review DAMAC’s current and future business risks and communicating key findings to the senior management.
- Lead the process of facilitating the assignment of DAMAC corporate credit ratings by at least two international credit rating agencies (S&P / Moody’s / Fitch), including annual credit ratings monitoring.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upward revision of DAMAC corporate credit ratings when they present themselves more often than due to the annual credit ratings update cycle.
- Identify business needs for attracting public debt in line with the overall DAMAC debt and liquidity management strategy and policies
- Support the internal and external audit teams with their requirements for the financial reporting for DAMAC’s business.
Requirements:
- A Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years MUST be from within real estate management Consulting or a MNC – global organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified qualification in CA/CPA/ACCA/CFA/ASA will be preferred
- Power BI knowledge and experience is MUST
- Post–graduation/MBA in Finance or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in working with global financial information systems (Bloomberg / Capital IQ / Definitive)
