Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Money Exchange Business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE. The accountant will be responsible for maintaining. financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial record keeping: maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the money exchange business.
- Financial reporting: prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and ash flow statements.
- Budget management: assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Bank reconciliation: reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Tax compliance: ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and prepare and file tax returns as required.
- Expense management: monitor and manage expenses, including vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Financial analysis: conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Audit preparation: prepare documents and assist with external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Documentation: maintain organized and complete financial documentation for audits and reference.
- Compliance: stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s financial activities adhere to legal requirements.
- Financial systems: proficiency in using accounting software and tools for financial record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferable in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE tax regulations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
