KPMG’s Deals Advisory team is seeking a strong M&A Manager to support its growing UAE business. Our Deal Advisory M&A professionals team are forward-looking specialists with vast deal experience, a broad range of skills and deep industry expertise.
The team work seamlessly with the client and other parties involved in the deal to focus on the key questions during the critical stages of planning and executing acquisitions and divestitures. Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in buy- & sell-side M&A projects and cooperate with other senior team members in the daily deal execution
- Assist on the origination (pitch material, client proposals, RFPs, etc.) and execution of lead advisory mandates and lead the preparation of marketing materials
- Responsible for the M&A project delivery transactions, drive the project management, transaction timetable, ensuring quality on client deliverables and execution of live mandates throughout the whole transaction process
- Manage complex and multidisciplinary projects and deal with capital market questions and business plans
- Create and design financial valuation models by using a wide range of research tools for market and company analysis
- Prepare high quality client presentations and participate in internal and external marketing activities as well as general business development
- Perform industry researches and market analyses and contribute to KPMG M&A publications
- Show real interest and desire to understand clients, market features and technical aspects while providing input into designing/implementing solutions alongside senior colleagues
- Actively develop, monitor, mentor and coach team members and Junior member by demonstrating appropriate behavior and delegate where appropriate
- Identify areas for development and proactively seek opportunities for greater responsibility to increase skill set and build on existing strengths
- Enhance KPMG’s reputation in the market by delivering high quality engagement work and project management, showing high attention to detail, and always managing risk
- Set up procedures to monitor work progress, quality, and cost against budget, while consulting widely on engagements and other matters
- Create a visible presence within KPMG and the external market, increasing interactivity across teams and with clients
What You Will Need To Succeed
- At least 5-6 years of experience in M&A advisory either in an Investment bank, Big 4 or boutique advisory firms
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related fields with strong academic background
- Preferably MBA graduate and qualified CFA
- Must have proven track record in deal execution lifecycle from origination through to completion ; preferably in GCC market or in one of mature markets within M&A
- Experience in M&A, Business Valuation, Financial Modeling
- Strong numerical, analytical; strategic thinking and project management skills
- Ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously to demanding timetables
- Personal drive and integrity to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Commitment to high quality standards and a detail-oriented approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to build and develop strong relationships with clients and multipliers in the market
