Position
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Managing the month end accounts close;
- Preparing financial reports;
- Preparation of taxation returns and schedules;
- Providing support to the Business and Head of Finance for the preparation of budgets;
- Participating in system implementations and improvements; and
- Managing, mentoring and developing accounting staff in the Finance team
Profile
To be considered for this role you will have an ambitious and charismatic personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You must be deadline driven, have the capability to manage tasks and take a proactive approach to your work.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence, persuade and express ideas clearly. You will also be an approachable and adaptable individual, who enjoys working in fast pace and evolving environments.
In Addition You Will Have
- A relevant degree with a major in Accounting / Finance;
- CPA or CA qualified;
- A minimum of 6 years relevant work experience, with 3-4 years spent working in a similar role in a commercial environment, preferably retail or FMCG; and
- Experience using accounting system software. SAP experience is an essential.
