Role Overview:
We are actively seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be key to our finance department, providing strategic direction and ensuring the company’s financial health, as well as essential to the financial management of our clients.
They will oversee a dynamic team and guide the company through the financial decision-making process with analytical precision and foresight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide clear direction and management of the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Cash & Investment Management: Oversee the company’s cash assets and investments, ensuring optimal returns and liquidity.
- Strategic Direction: Lead financial strategies and budget management to align with growth objectives.
- Operational Management: Oversee accounts receivables, payables, and payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Reporting Systems: Design and implement automated reporting systems for both group companies and external clientele.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and utilize financial modelling tools to aid decision-making related to budgets, costs, and other critical areas.
- Financial Documentation: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and other relevant reports.
- Account Management: Handle account records, oversee invoice issuance, and manage payments efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to identify and rectify accounting discrepancies.
- External Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and banks, facilitating audits and building relationships.
- Tax Management: Ensure the accurate preparation, review, and filing of VAT and other taxes for all group entities.
- Inter-company Transactions: Efficiently handle and record all inter-company financial transactions.
- Policies & Procedures: Spearhead the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize the company’s financial operations and ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as CFA, ACCA, UAECA or CPA will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial finance role, preferably within the corporate finance or accounting sector.
- Proficient in using advanced financial software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory and financial standards.
